FLAVOURED WATER IS THE TREND OF THE MOMENT

Water with taste is fully on trend, because it is almost sugar-free and a real alternative to unhealthy, sugar-sweet fizzy drinks. In addition, the nicely prepared carafes and glasses look extremely appetising, especially on hot summer days. It doesn’t take a lot of ingredients to make Infused Water, a healthy trendy drink. A few fresh fruits, one or two stems of fragrant herbs, a pretty carafe and of course refreshingly cooled drinking water: whether mixed with or without carbonic acid is reserved for individual taste preferences. The ideal drinking temperature can be adjusted according to individual wishes with the LUQEL Water Station.

3 WATER RECIPES FOR REFRESHING ENJOYMET

The easiest way to flavour water is to use only one fruit variety. Then the taste and aroma of the fruit passes into the water. If you want something a little more refined, add herbs and/or spices, it brings completely new taste experiences.

A GREAT TASTE COMBINATION: WATER WITH HERBS AND CUCUMBER

• Thinly slice ½ a cucumber and put into a jug.
• Add 1 litre of water.
• Place a washed sprig of rosemary on a cutting board and hit the sprig lightly with a knife handle. This lightly breaks up the structure of the rosemary sprig and releases the flavours.
• Put the rosemary in the jug and allow to steep for at least 20 minutes.

BLUEBERRY-CUCUMBER-THYME WATER

• Wash 30 grammes of fresh blueberries and put into a carafe.
• LUQEL TIP: In summer, try adding frozen blueberries to water for an additional boost of freshness.
• Slice ½ a cucumber. Halve the slices and add to the blueberries.
• Add 1 litre of water.
• Prepare glasses with ice cubes and a sprig of thyme..
• Pour in the water and enjoy.

WINTER MOCKTAIL

• Wash 100 grams of cranberries and place in a carafe, fresh or frozen.
• Mix some orange juice with 2 teaspoons of honey and add.
• Pour on 250 ml currant juice.
• Add 750 ml carbonated water.
• Garnish with cinnamon sticks and orange slices.
