Eliminate doubt with Hydronar filtration

Hydronar Filtration

Locally sourced and perfectly filtered tap water eliminates all traces of hormones, heavy metals, drug residues such as antibiotics, painkillers, alpha and beta blockers, pesticides, insecticides, nitrate and microplastics.

Activated Carbon filtration

Reverse Osmosis

WATER PERFECTION IN THREE STAGES

Optimal filtration targets the removal of all particles, inorganic compounds and organic substances to reproduce pure H20

STAGE 1

SEDIMENT FILTRATION

The HYDRONAR® sediment filter function is an important first stage for the subsequent, finer filter systems in the LUQEL water dispenser.

This initial stage targets the removal of coarse impurities such as sand, lime and rust particles and water cloudiness.

How does sediment filtration work?

The sediment or fine filter works like a sieve, where high pressure is used to remove particles larger than 5µm from the water.

STAGE 2

ACTIVATED CARBON FILTRATION

The second stage of the filtration process is activated carbon. This stage uses a porous, fine-grained carbon made from natural materials such as coconut shells or wood which reliably removes chlorine, microplastics, insecticides, pesticides and organic contaminants >1 nm from the water.

ACTIVATED CARBON FILTRATION

Key water filtration process

Activated Carbon prepares the tap water excellently for the final filtration stage, reverse osmosis

How does activated carbon filtration work?

Due to the many channel-shaped pores, activated carbon has a large surface area. Pollutant molecules are absorbed and bound by the pores.

STAGE 3

Reverse Osmosis Filtration

Obtaining the purest water

The third stage of the filtration process is targets the removal of the smallest elements contaminating the water. These include elements are too small to be removed by traditional filtration methods and include lead, chromium or nitrate

At a pressure of 4 to 10 bar, only water molecules can pass through the osmosis membrane ensuring no more foreign substances.

How does reverse osmosis work?

The reverse osmosis filter separates the contaminated water from the already purified water free of foreign substances: it is “set to zero”.
